Electrician for Data Center (M/F/X)

NESSUS is a renowned Austrian IT company that has specialized in IT services since 1999. We provide our customers with our fiber optic and microwave network in Vienna and the surrounding area with bandwidths of up to 100 Gbit/s. Additionally, we operate two ISO-certified high-security data centers with a total area of over 2,300 m². Our most prominent customers include major media companies, banks, as well as messaging platforms and popular job portals.

The company remains 100% owned by founder and CEO Florian Schicker. Our office, which is home to 25 friendly employees, is centrally located in Vienna and is easily accessible by public transport. We work in modern, bright, and pleasant offices on the air-conditioned top floor.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will handle the installation, commissioning, and service work of electrical systems for our data centers (e.g., cable trays, cabling work, building services)
  • Furthermore, you will be involved in maintenance work such as repairs and servicing, as well as troubleshooting
  • You will participate in projects (e.g., server room expansion)
  • You will conduct regular inspections of our data centers and examine them thoroughly
Your Qualifications
  • Approximately 5 years of professional experience as an electrical technician or electrician
  • Completed vocational training as an electrician
  • Perfect German language skills, both written and spoken (C2)
  • Independent working style, personal responsibility, precise work, and high reliability
  • Driver’s license B
Bonus Points
  • if you have a master craftsman certification
  • if you have experience with fiber optic cabling (ODF, splicing, etc.)
  • if you are familiar with measurement, control, and regulation technology
  • if you have experience with data centers
  • if you are willing to be on call

Your Salary

Minimum salary according to collective agreement: EUR 2,540 gross/month. Actual salary: between EUR 2,700 and EUR 3,400 gross/month depending on qualifications and experience.
